Playing With Friends

Today Brandon and Alexis from across the st came over to play with Anthony and Bethany. First they started playing in the sand Bethany said she was building a mermaid.



The boys were playing baseball just hitting the ball around while Alexis was chasing Bethany to play with the baby carriage. Its not as warm as it was last week but its in the 60's and a nice sunny day for the kids to be out playing.

Student Of the Month Ceremony

Today was a big day, first Bethany played on the playground at Anthony's school. Then we went in for Anthony's Student of the Month Ceremony.

He was so excited him along with his classmates got their certificates for what they did in class.

There's his certificate he got, now we have to get a picture frame to put it in. After we left his school Ed, Beth, Grams and myself went to Old Saybrook Walmart and got Anthony a tee ball set. We also enjoyed the buffet at Pizza Hut. Overall it was a great day and we are all so proud of Anthony!

Easter Weekend

This weekend was very big for the kids. Friday Anthony didn't have school so we cleaned the house and played outside. We were also informed that Anthony was made Student of the Month for April and we are going to a ceremony Wednesday!
Saturday the kids helped me clean the house up for the Easter Bunny while Eddie was at work. They did an awesome job and then they played outside. Once Eddie got home they all played baseball.
Sunday morning we all woke up and they went through their baskets from us and baskets from my mom and Steve that were sent from Florida. Then they looked for eggs which we hid inside since our yard was still drying from the rain we got for 3 days in a row. Then it was breakfast time so I made all of us pancakes. The fun part was getting the kids dressed. Bethany had a beautiful dress and hat that my grandmother had gotten her and Anthony wore his black dress pants and polo shirt. They both looked great. Bethany woke up sick so I was hoping she would last until after grandmas house. Grams picked us up and we went over there and ate dinner, then had another egg hunt outside and they got so much candy!
Then it was time to come home and boy were we all tired. Overall it was a great Easter
